Interactive Visitor Information Maps of Nelson and Tasman New Zealand

Using the Visitor information map

1.Selecting the check box for either accommodation, restaurants, activities, or shopping will display a list of those operations that are members of the Harlequin Guide to Nelson and also put markers on the map showing where they are. Gold coloured are accommodation, Red are restaurants, Green are activities and attraction, and Blue are shopping and arts and crafts.

2. Click on their name and the map will pan to the correct marker.

3. Click on the marker and a balloon will reveal their address, phone number, and link to their page on the site. Click this link to go there.

4. Clicking the "Harlequin" button on the map will reveal local maps showing a variety of information not available on the standard map.

5. By clicking the plus sign on the left of the map you can zoom into an area.

6. Click anywhere on the map and by holding down the mouse button you can pan the map to an area you are interested

7. Find out what is close to where you are staying ( eg restaurants ) by selecting both the accommodation and restaurant check boxes.

8. There is also a distance guide at the bottom of the map.
